Lindfield Learning Village is a bit of controversial school, some people liked its unique teaching style some do not. Its catchment has been steadily increasing after its establishment.
All parts of Lindfield west and parts of it near the railway has been designated to be transferred to Lindfield Learning Village in 2026. Small parts of Roseville east of railway has been also transferred to Lindfield Learning Village. Parts of southern Killara both west and east of railway is being transferred to Lindfield Learning Village in 2026 as well.
Most likely due to community concern the transitional period has been put into place that hard cut off is not due until 2028. 2025, 2026 and 2027 enrolment in the transferred area will be offered choice of both Killara High School and Lindfield Learning Village for all year ranges. Siblings of students already enroled at Killara High School who resides in the currently transferred area will be eligible for enrolment still.
The black border is the 2026 catchment boundary and the red is the 2025 boundary. Please not the transitional enrolment arrangement noted above.

The green striped area is part of Lindfield Learning Village’s existing catchment and will stay its part in 2026 as well.
The red striped area will be transferred from Killara High School to Lindfield Learning Village in 2026. Please note the transitional enrolment arrangement mentioned above and the full transfer will not happen until 2028.
The most common name used by the NSW Department of Education is called “catchment” which refers to those students who reside in a particular area and are guaranteed a position in specific schools. When discussed from the perspective of a particular school is often referred to as one of the following terms.
School Zone
School intake area
School catchment
As usual, contact the school in question or the Department of Education for the final confirmation and you can also access the full NSW and Sydney Public School Catchment Map by following this link.
