2025 Kingsgrove High School Catchment Update

Major expansion of the Kingsgrove High School catchment in 2025, mainly to cover the previously single sex school catchments compare to last year. Also with the changes to the Georges River College and its associated campuses, there has been fair bit of exchange of catchment between schools to its southern border.

The black border is the 2025 catchment boundary and the red is the 2024 boundary.

I will not list detailed change of catchment border unlike others I have done so far. Yellow striped area was the part that was Kingsgrove High School’s catchment in 2024 as well which it retained this year. Green striped area is what transferred or shared with Kingsgrove High School and nearby schools in 2025. The red striped area is what transferred away from Kingsgrove High School to Georges River College in 2025

The most common name used by the NSW Department of Education is called “catchment” which refers to those students who reside in a particular area and are guaranteed a position in specific schools. When discussed from the perspective of a particular school is often referred to as one of the following terms.

School Zone
School intake area
School catchment

As usual, contact the school in question or the Department of Education for the final confirmation and you can also access the full NSW and Sydney Public School Catchment Map by following this link.
