2022 Frankston High School and Surrounding School Zone Update

I am just going through the 2022 high school zones for Victoria. There is actually a fair number of changes, since one of the visitors to my site brought up the Frankston High school, I figure I will review the changes for it first.

Victorian schools, in general, use closest-to-school rules when it comes to enrolment and school zones. However, there are a number of schools got specific school zones assigned to them, Frankston High School is one of them.

The school zone is changed for 2022 in a fairly abrupt fashion from what I gather in the news. It has now reverted back to the closest school rule when it comes to enrolment and no longer got a specific school zone assigned to it. The affected schools around Frankston High School for 2022 are as follows.

  • Frankston High School
  • Monterey Secondary College
  • McClelland Secondary College
  • Mount Erin Secondary College
  • Mount Eliza Secondary College

Frankston High School gained the southern tip of the existing Monterey Second College zone in 2022.

Frankston High School gained a large section and give up a small segment to the east with the McClelland Secondary College in 2022.

Frankston High School traded parts of the zones in the east with Mount Erin Secondary College in 2022.

Frankston High School also traded zones for 2022 to the south with Mout Eliza Secondary College

Please note the green striped parts are what will be gained and the red stripped parts are what will be transferred away by Frankston High School in 2022 compare to existing school zones. The red borders are the 2021 and the black borders are the 2022 school zone borders.
