The Forest High School had undergone catchment change for 2025 already and really significant changes is happening for year 2026 as well. This changes appears to follow the changes in NSW this year to cover what use to be exclusive single sex public school catchment with co-education schools. That being said other than that there is further expansion of The Forest High School catchment this year again. These changes should result in a non-insignificant net increase of enrolment number for The Forest High School.
Because the existing catchment is really convoluted, so I am only showing the 2026 catchment this time.
The Forest High School Catchment Map 2026

The green striped area is the exclusive catchment of The Forest High School in 2026.

The most common name used by the NSW Department of Education is called “catchment” which refers to those students who reside in a particular area and are guaranteed a position in specific schools. When discussed from the perspective of a particular school is often referred to as one of the following terms.
School Zone
School intake area
School catchment
As usual, contact the school in question or the Department of Education for the final confirmation and you can also access the full NSW and Sydney Public School Catchment Map by following this link.
