Homebush Boys High School Catchment Update For 2022

The catchment for Homebush Boys High School has been expanded northward to include the entire suburb of Sydney Olympic Park, Wentworth Point, and part of Concord West and Newington.

This one is a little unusual, Homebush Boys High School is usually overlaid with the Strathfield Girls High School catchment. This expansion is for Homebush Boys High School alone. The expansion is actually very expansive, pretty much doubles or even more than the existing catchment.

Another thing to note is that at this moment catchment for Concord High School is not reduced and will overlap with the new expansion of Homebush Boys High School catchment in 2022 in the western part.

The most common name used by the NSW Department of Education is called “catchment” which refers to those students who reside in a particular area who are guaranteed a position in specific schools. When discussed from the perspective of a particular school is often referred to as one of the following terms.

  • School Zone
  • School intake area
  • School catchment

As usual contact the school in question or the Department of Education for the final confirmation and you can also access the full NSW and Sydney High School Catchment Map by following this link.
