2022 Victoria Ave Public School Catchment Update

Victoria Ave Public School is a relatively new school that only opened in 2015. However, with a massive amount of high-density apartments built in the area recently, it is inevitable even the catchment of this recently opened school has to be changed again.

Victoria Ave Public School will pick up an area to the east between the railway and Concord Road and add to its existing catchment. This area mostly consists of low-density residential properties.

It will give up the entire southeast corner of its 2021 catchment to Homebush, Homebush West, and Strathfield North Public School in 2022. There is a healthy amount of medium to high-density residential properties located in the area that are being transferred away.

Looking at the catchment area gained and lost in 2022 for Victoria Ave Public School, it is safe to say its overall enrolment number will shrink very significantly.

Please note the green-striped areas are what will be transferred away from Victoria Ave Public School to Homebush, Homebush West, and Strathfield North Public School in 2022. The red-striped areas are what will be transferred to the Victoria Ave Public School catchment from Strathfield North Public School. The black border is the 2022 catchment boundary and the red is the 2021 boundary.
