This entry is for the 2025 Victoria and Melbourne secondary school zone map at year 11. The main changes from last year being two new zones added compare to last year in the eastern Melbourne which are Cranbourne West Secondary College and Edenbrook Secondary College. There are more defined school zones in the western Melbourne as well, rather than the standard distance based ones used traditionally. Again if time permits in the next few weeks, I will try to detail them individually.

This entry is for the 2025 Victoria and Melbourne secondary school zone map at year 7. There are actually fair bit of changes to school zone boundaries this year. Most of the changes are focus in western Melbourne, not a real surprising given where the highest population increasing is happening. Again same as previous if time allows, I will circle back after general catchment update to do a more detailed breakdown on the changes this year later.

The 2025 catchment map has been updated, there are actually fair number of changes compare to last year. Three new school with attached school zones are added, they are Thompsons West Primary School, Clyde North Primary School, and Pakenham North West Primary School. Please note these are interim names, so subject to changes in the future. Existing school zones for Barton Primary School, Macclesfield Primary School, and Tullamarine Primary School are modified, these result in changes to the surrounding school’s zoning as well, this applies to the new ones above as well.

They are Prahran High School, Preston High School and Hallam Senior Secondary College. I will try to update them in detail in the upcoming weeks.

There are two new schools opening in the northern Melbourne suburbs, Merrifield West Secondary School and Wollert East Secondary College. Hallam Senior Secondary College in the southeast part of Melbourne starting to accept year 7 in 2023 as well. I may detail most of them in the recent posts within the next few weeks.
