Endeavour Sports And Sylvania High School Catchment Map 2023 Update

A major update is happening to the Endeavour Sports and Sylvania High School catchment in 2023.

The entire area north of Georges River, including the entire suburb of Sans Souci and part of the suburb of Ramsgate south of the Ramsgate Road will be transferred from Endeavour Sports to Sylvania High School in 2023. This area is highlighted with green stripes. This entire area is densely populated and consist of low to medium density dwellings. The area remains with Sylvania High School in 2023 from its existing catchment highlighted with purple stripes.

The area to the west of Taren Point Road and bounded by the water to the west which is highlighted with red stripes will be transferred from Sylvania High School to Endeavour Sports High School in 2023. The area remains with Endeavour Sports High School in 2023 from its existing catchment highlighted with yellow stripes.

The area transferred to Sylvania is very large in comparison to the area transferred to Endeavour High School. This will result in a very significant increase in the total enrolment number for Sylvania High School in the next few years starting from year 7. I had a look at Sylvania High School, there does not seem to be a recent expansion to its teaching spaces, so it must already have a lot of spare space available. It did recently complete an upgrade to its school hall.

The black border is the 2023 catchment boundary and the red is the 2022 boundary.
