Tasmania School Zone

Yes, Tasmania is one of the six states in Australia, not just a tiny dot on the map that nobody notices it even existed. However put into perspective it is actually almost twice as large as Taiwan so it is a really big island. Education in Australia is the responsibility of the each state government, it is no different in case of Tasmania. Also, as usual, it has a different set of rules and regulation when it comes to the school zones for primary and secondary schools.

Primary schools in Tasmania has defined school zone which is referred as School Home Areas or catchment as well. After a rough look, primary schools all have a defined school home area and high school zone is defined by feeder schools. So if you attend the feeder primary school that you are zoned for the high school in question. This arrangement is different and unique in Australia from what I can see.
