Top Ranking Australian Primary School For The Year 2022

Top-ranking Australian primary schools for the year 2022. The result is a combination of both year 3 and 5 numbers from NAPLAN. One thing to note is some schools listed have very low enrolment numbers so the result is possibly not a reliable reflection of the entire school’s performance and historically can have big fluctuations as well. This is why I also included the enrolment number here, some schools got big enrolment numbers as well due to they are classified as combined with both primary and secondary components counted together. One more thing to note is that the percentage is based on the number one primary school regardless of the school sector.

2022 ACT, Canberra College Year 11 to 12 Priority Enrolment Area Map Update

There are no changes to the priority enrolment area for the colleges for 2023. However, there is a fair number of plans for 2024. I updated the map so the layer is named 2023 instead of 2022 to avoid potential confusion.

“Priority Enrolment Area” which is what a particular address is zoned for the particular school. When discussed from the perspective of a particular school is often referred to as one of the following terms.

  • School Zone
  • School intake area
  • School catchment
  • Priority Intake Area

As usual contact the school in question or the Department of Education for the final confirmation and you can also access the full ACT Public School Priority Enrolment Area (Catchment) Map by following this link.

2023 ACT, Canberra High School Year 7 to 10 Priority Enrolment Area Map Update

Only two changes at the high school level for school zones for 2023 in ACT.
The new Evelyn Scott School High School Campus (Year 7 to Year 10) will open in 2023. It includes the entire suburbs of Whitlam, Denman Prospect, Molonglo, Coombs, and Wright.

As from the ACT Department of Education website. From 2023 the section of Gungahlin and Ngunnawal bounded by Gungahlin Drive, Ginninderra Creek, Mirrabei Drive, Gozzard Street, and from the southern terminus of Gozzard Street across to Gungahlin Drive adjacent to the intersection of Kosciuszko Avenue and Gungahlin Drive Palmerston will be included in the PEA for Harrison School (7-10).

2023 NSW, Sydney High School (Year 11) Catchment Map Update

This is the 2023 update for the NSW, Sydney High School catchment map. At the year 11 level, the changes are limited so I will not go over them in detail. For example, the new Inner City High School will only start to cover the year 11 level at the year 2024. I have spent more time cleaning up the map, this is to reduce the cluttering and make it easier to use the map. We now have the junior high school catchment on the year 11 specific version to keep it much cleaner.
